Shipping and handling
We offer a $15 Australia wide flat rate shipping fee, with free shipping for orders over $150 using the code "FREE SHIPPING".
As of 25/10/21, shipping insurance will be automatically included on all online orders. This is so, in the unlikely event your parcel is lost or damaged during transit, we will lodge a claim with the courier so the order can be refunded or replaced. Please note that once we open a claim with the courier, the timeframe of it being assessed and completed is beyond our control.
If, in the unlikely event your parcel is damaged during transit, we will make a claim on your behalf through our courier. This process requires us to provide evidence of breakages (so please send us detailed photos of any damages within 24 hours of receiving your package) so that we can forward it onto the shipping company within their required timeframes. The claims process can take between 5-7 business days, however may take longer depending on circumstances, and this is outside of our control. Once the courier completes their assessment, the total of the purchase order price (less GST and shipping charges) will be refunded to House of Wellington, and we will pass on that refund to our customer.
Due to Covid-19, all orders will be delivered as ‘Authority to leave’ meaning that they will be contactless, and left in a safe place at the discretion of the courier. Whilst we will always try our best to assist with lost packages, House of Wellington can not accept responsibility for lost parcels once they have been delivered.
Please ensure all delivery details are correct when checking out, as we can not be held responsible for loss or packages due to incorrect delivery details.
We use a combination of couriers and Australia Post.
We mainly ship with couriers, however if you live in a remote, regional area, or on an island, then our courier may not service your area, in which case, we will then use Australia Post.
